Overview

Williams Comfort Air is currently seeking an Account Payable Specialist to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our specialists process all invoices received for payment and undertaking payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

 

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

What Will I Do?

  • Create and review purchase orders
  • Review vendor invoices for accuracy
  • Charge expenses to accounts and departments after analyzing vendor invoices
  • Vendor invoice entry and heavy data entry
  • Review and process credit memos
  • Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and to invoices
  • Assist controller with check runs
  • Preparer and mail vendor checks
  • Contact vendors for additional information and to resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with streamlining the accounts payable processes

Qualifications

Do I Have What It Takes?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associates in Accounting or similar degree is a bonus
  • 1-2+ years of previous AP experience with basic accounting principles knowledge
  • Must be tech savvy
  • Must be able to work effectively and with a positive attitude in a high paced environment
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with vendors/employees via email and/or phone
  • Must be able to handle repetition well
  • Must be able to work on site and have reliable transportation
